The time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you.

When you book an appointment with Harlo & Co we guarantee you this time and appoint a fully qualified and highly experienced professional to take care of your needs.

Our goal at Harlo and Co is to provide a quality service in a timely manner.
In order to do this we have implemented the following policies:

Cancellations
Each client’s appointment is important to us. We want to give your service the time and attention it deserves. As a result, we respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment time. Failing to give 24-hour notice will result in a 50% charge. Any no-shows will be charged 50% of their service amount to their customer account.

Salon Late Appointment Policy
We want to make sure that all our clients have the opportunity to receive services. We understand that sometimes life is unpredictable, and so we allow for a 15 minute grace period for late arrival in case you are unexpectedly delayed. If you think you are going to be late, please call us so that we can adjust our schedule. Please understand that if you are repeatedly late, we will charge 50% of the service amount and require that you rebook your appointment.

Reminder Service
We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 48 hours prior to your appointment. On receipt of this text, we ask that you confirm ‘y’ for Yes or cancel with ‘N’ for No. Harlo and Co the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments. ‘No shows” will be required to pay deposits for all future appointments.

Appointment Times
You must arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for. If you are running late, please let us know – we will do everything we can to accommodate you, however, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service, in which case you will need to make another booking.

Responsibility for Children & Personal Items
For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children are accompanied by adults at all times, and carefully monitored. Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client. Any breakages or damage of salon items or products will incur a cost to you the client.

Right to Refuse Service Cancellation Policy
The safety of our staff and our clients is our top priority. As such, the salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if we feel that they pose a health or safety risk. This includes but is not limited to lice, skin infections, open wounds, contagious illness (such as a new, continuous cough or a fever), or rude/ obnoxious behavior. Thank you for your understanding.
Privacy Policy
Harlo and Co monitor the privacy and confidentiality of personal information and ensure compliance to all relevant legislative and moral requirements by instilling discipline in all aspects of our business. Our objective is to protect and maintain the privacy, and security of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. The Privacy Act contains a set of standards for the handling of your personal information known as the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Personal information collected by Harlo and Co generally comprises name, address, contact details and certain financial information. The National Privacy Principles require Harlo and Co not to store personal information longer than necessary. We are committed to the privacy and protection of your information.
